Pet Name: “Chobani” sometimes its also “Barney”
Breeder: Mr D Lister
Date of Birth: 31 July 2012
After turning 3yrs Chobani developed into the perfect farm dog, never chased or paid any attention the farm animals, follows you all day doing the chores or enjoys going for a ride in the mule or on the bike, happy to follow my horse on a trial often watching me ride camped under a tree.
Only barking now when its something necessary to bark and when required is brave and confident to investigate the unknown or uninvited!
Gets along with other entire dogs on the property and of cource all the females, often spending hours playing with them allowing them to tug at his mane and scruff without so much as a whimper that they have gone too far!
He is strong, extremely sound, sensible and agile as the border collie, with the loyalty of a German shepherd.
Best of breed on several occasions including Geelong Show
and several at Championship show.
Received to Best Anatolian head in Coban Kopegi Festival 2013
Received 2nd for best movement in Coban Kopegi Festival 2016
Pet Name: “Yatsi” or “Yagee”
Breeder Ms C Hager
Date of Birth : 4th October 2015
Yatsi is only 13mths old and still a baby but already weighs in over 48kgs and still growing!
This dog has the most affectionate nature and although strong with her tempermant does not challenge other dogs for leadership roles.
She is learning the rules and already can return from a recall more than 200mtrs away, remain in a stay position with good patience, yet to master this at such a young age.
She likes to follow the cat and sit with him but is still clumsy and sends him away for he fears being squashed, she can be trusted with the horses and the chooks, but still likes to give everyone a woof or two at feeding time, The horses don’t respond and often reach down from over the gates, to see what she wants !
She has leant to behave in the show ring with minimal training and enjoys the attention from everyone.
She is going to be taller than Toli and Choban so we are hoping for some height from her pups in the future.
She is straight and strong in her joints and a big long swinging stride, is sound in mind and body and has a beautiful coat as she holds condition well.
For the few outings she has had, she has been very successful taking out a few Best of breed and more recently she was crowned Best In Show at the Anatolian Champ Show 2016 after Best Junior and Best Bitch
